Shipping policy

Preamble
We, the undersigned proprietors of Khorifica, do hereby establish and make known to all plant parents, enthusiasts, and cultivators of green life, the terms and conditions governing the shipment and delivery of products purchased through our establishment. Let it be understood that these provisions are set forth with the utmost consideration for fairness, transparency, and the timely conveyance of your horticultural supplies.
Article I: Processing & Dispatch of Orders
Section 1.1 - Order Processing Timeline
Upon the successful completion of your purchase, we shall commence the preparation of your order with all due diligence and reasonable expedition. All orders placed before 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on any business day shall be processed on that same day. Orders received thereafter shall be processed on the following business day.
Section 1.2 - Business Days Defined
For purposes of this policy, "business days" shall constitute Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays observed within the United States of America and such other days as we may, in our discretion, determine to close our operations.
Section 1.3 - Order Confirmation
You shall receive electronic confirmation of your order via email immediately upon purchase, and a subsequent notification containing tracking information once your package has been dispatched to our carrier.
Article II: Shipping Methods & Timeframes
Section 2.1 - Domestic Shipping (Within the United States)
We offer the following shipping options within the territorial boundaries of the United States:
Standard Shipping: Delivery within 5-7 business days from the date of dispatch Expedited Shipping: Delivery within 3-4 business days from the date of dispatch Express Shipping: Delivery within 1-2 business days from the date of dispatch
Section 2.2 - International Shipping
At this present time, we regret to inform our international clientele that we do not extend our shipping services beyond the borders of the United States. Should circumstances change, we shall amend this policy accordingly and provide proper notice.
Section 2.3 - Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories
Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories may require additional time beyond the standard timeframes herein specified. We shall make every reasonable effort to ensure timely delivery, though shipping times may vary by 2-5 additional business days for these destinations.
Article III: Shipping Costs & Fees
Section 3.1 - Calculation of Shipping Fees
Shipping costs shall be calculated based upon the following factors: total weight of your order, delivery destination, and selected shipping method. The exact cost shall be clearly displayed at checkout prior to the completion of your purchase.
Section 3.2 - Free Shipping Threshold
Orders exceeding the sum of $75 (Seventy-Five United States Dollars) shall qualify for standard shipping at no additional charge within the contiguous United States. This benefit does not extend to expedited or express shipping services, nor to shipments destined for Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.
Section 3.3 - No Hidden Fees
We solemnly declare that the shipping cost presented at checkout represents the total and complete fee. No additional charges, taxes, or duties shall be imposed upon you after purchase completion for domestic orders.
Article IV: Tracking & Delivery
Section 4.1 - Tracking Information
Upon dispatch of your order, you shall be furnished with a tracking number enabling you to monitor the progress of your shipment. It is your right and responsibility to utilize this tracking information to remain informed of your package's whereabouts.
Section 4.2 - Delivery Attempts
Our carrier shall make reasonable attempts to deliver your package to the address provided. Should delivery prove unsuccessful due to absence, incorrect address, or refusal to accept delivery, the package may be returned to our facility, and you may be held responsible for additional shipping charges for re-delivery.
Section 4.3 - Signature Requirements
Certain high-value orders may require a signature upon delivery. Should you be unavailable to sign, our carrier shall leave notice with instructions for package retrieval or re-delivery scheduling.
Article V: Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments
Section 5.1 - Damaged Goods
Should your products arrive in a damaged condition, we implore you to document such damage through photographs and contact our customer service within 48 hours of delivery. We shall investigate the matter thoroughly and provide a remedy, whether through replacement, refund, or other appropriate compensation.
Section 5.2 - Lost Packages
In the unfortunate event that your tracking information indicates delivery but you have not received your package, please contact us immediately. We shall conduct a thorough investigation with our shipping carrier and work diligently to resolve the matter.
Section 5.3 - Delays Beyond Our Control
While we endeavor to meet all stated delivery timeframes, we cannot be held liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, severe weather conditions, civil unrest, carrier delays, customs delays, or any force majeure events.
Article VI: Shipping Address Accuracy
Section 6.1 - Your Responsibility
It is incumbent upon you, the purchaser, to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase. We cannot accept responsibility for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Section 6.2 - Address Modifications
Should you wish to modify the shipping address after order placement but before dispatch, contact our customer service immediately. We shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, though we cannot guarantee modifications once the order has entered our fulfillment process.
Section 6.3 - Undeliverable Addresses
Should a package be returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent address provided by you, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for re-shipment or to issue a refund minus our original shipping costs and any return shipping fees incurred.
Article VII: Special Handling for Plant Care Products
Section 7.1 - Fragile Items
Products of a fragile nature, including but not limited to ceramic pots, glass terrariums, and delicate tools, shall be packaged with appropriate protective materials. However, we strongly recommend selecting insurance options for high-value fragile items.
Section 7.2 - Liquid Products
Soil amendments, fertilizers, and other liquid products shall be packaged in compliance with carrier regulations. In rare circumstances where leakage occurs during transit, please photograph the damage and contact us immediately for resolution.

This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the state in which our principal place of business is located. Any disputes arising from shipping matters shall be resolved through good faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels within the United States.
